Selection Criteria

Tau Beta Pi’s members are students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding scholarship and exemplary character. The New Jersey Delta Chapter’s membership is drawn from the junior and senior classes of Princeton’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. The top 1/5 of the senior class and the top 1/8 of the junior class are eligible for membership. Formal initiation ceremonies are held biannually, in November and April.

Since the New Jersey Delta Chapter was founded in 1972, over 1400 members have been initiated. A list of current undergraduate membership can be found here.
